No Guarantee of Quotes or Results

Submitting a project request does not guarantee that you will receive a quote, that a contractor will contact you, or that any project will be completed. We share your request with local contractors, but we cannot guarantee contractor availability, responsiveness, or interest in any given project.

Homeowner Responsibility

Homeowners are responsible for:

• Evaluating any contractor before hiring them
• Negotiating and agreeing on pricing, scope, and timeline directly with the contractor
• Entering into any contract or agreement directly with the contractor
• Verifying that the contractor holds any licenses, permits, or insurance required for the work
• Making payment arrangements directly with the contractor

BuildLocal NWIL is not a party to any agreement between a homeowner and a contractor. We are not responsible for the quality, timeliness, cost, or outcome of any work performed.

Contractor Responsibility

Contractors who participate in the BuildLocal NWIL network are responsible for:

• Their own work, workmanship, and project outcomes
• Holding any required licenses, permits, and insurance for their trade and location
• Setting their own pricing and communicating it clearly to homeowners
• Entering into their own agreements with customers
• Complying with all applicable local, state, and federal laws

BuildLocal NWIL does not employ contractors, supervise their work, or make any representations about the quality or legality of their services.

Information You Submit

When you submit a quote request or contractor application, you agree that we may share your contact information and project or business details with relevant local contractors for the purpose of responding to your request. Please review our Privacy Policy for more information on how we handle your information.

No Warranty

BuildLocal NWIL makes no warranties, express or implied, about the contractors in its network, the accuracy of any information on this site, or the results of using this service. The service is provided as-is.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BuildLocal NWIL is not liable for any damages arising from your use of this service, including any issues related to a contractor’s work, availability, or conduct. Your use of this service is at your own risk.
